1996-2000: Ph.D. thesis research at EPFL in Lausanne in the group of Professor K. Kern on metallic thin layers and nanostructures. Expertise in Ultra High Vacuum and Scanning Tunneling Microscope techniques.

1999: Internship in Max-Plank Institute, Halle, Germany in the frame of my Ph.D. thesis. Study of thin layers magnetism by surface magneto-optical Kerr effect.

1996: Master Thesis on the resistivity and the phase diagram of the
YBa2Cu3O7- superconductor in the group of Professor R. Flückiger, Geneva.
