Recommendation for the writing of report
Procedures
The secretariat of the SMX Section requires the IMX labs to prepare a list of the available Semester Projects at least four weeks before the end of the semester preceding that during which the projects will be undertaken. This list will be made available two weeks before the end of the semester, at the latest, through the webpages of the labs.
Before the end of the semester, the SMX secretariat sends an email to students to find and register a semester project for the following semester.
The laboratories are responsible for the update of the project subjects.
Procedure for students
- Examine and choose a project from the list of projects below
- Beforehand, contact with the person in charge of the project for the assignment of the project
- Regisration on IS-Academia
- Download the pdf of the registration form registration form (before the deadline of the courses/projects registration)
- Signature of the registration form by the person in charge and send it by email to smx@epfl.ch or bring it to the secretariat of SMX
- At the end, the report of the written project has to submitted to the teacher at last:
- – Deadline regarding the projects of Fall semester: Friday of the second week after the end of the teachings
- – Deadline regarding the projects of Spring semester: Friday of the first week after the end of the teachings
Procedures for Labs
- 4 to 2 weeks before the end of the previous semester, publication of offered projects on laboratories websites
- Signature of the student registration form
- At the end of the project and according to the academic calendar, entry of the grade on IS-Academia.
