Robotics
Robotics is the ideal field for engineers who want to apply discoveries in artificial intelligence and microengineering to real world problems.
Making contact with robots by giving them a sense of touch, developing soft robotics, and creating robots that take their inspiration from nature are a few of the areas being explored by our researchers.
Many scientists from EPFL and other institutes collaborate under the umbrella organisation the NCCR for Robotics, under the direction of Dario Floreano.
